I know a guy who made a sun strip on his windshield using Plastidip. Totally possible.

From what I understand it is basically liquid plastic in a can, when you spray it on whatever you wanna spray, the plastic hardens and bonds to the surface, the great thing about it is that you mess up or don't like it you can peel it right off!

It wont work cause it will look like black dots all over ur window with only 1 coat.

A can is probs 15-20 dollars, you can get ur windows tinted for a 100-200 and that will last forever

You sure you know how plasti-dip works? I just want to make sure I'm getting correct advice.

What if I got legal tint and then darkened it with some plasti-dip, you think it would look better??

The flex seal is basically rubber in a spray can, I think it could be a good substitute

You all don't know how plasti dip works. Its a SPRAY NOT A DIP. Also, it isn't translucent. It's completely opaque.

So it is like spray paint?? How big is the nozzle to be able to push out plastic

Is opaque close to a black color cause I would like a darker tint & not that shiny stuff.

Do I spray it into a container to then dip my parts in it? Seems like that would take a long time. Sorry! I just want to make sure I do this right. Do I need to sand my paint before I dip the part?

Actually they sell it in a dip. Used for tool handles as grips.

I'm pretty sure it is a spray. Like spray paint.

I don't laugh out loud at too much stuff that I read on here , but that was a good one! Haha!

Camo, you sound like someone who just needs to learn the hard way. Buy a can, spray your windows and see what happens. If you can't see through the windows, get plasti dip glasses. They're kinda like 3d glasses that let you see through the dip.
