Default Tool Box tray sliding

I just got my toolbox a week or so ago and i've come to notice something. Every so often, when i turn, i hear my tray slide and hit the side of the box. It doesn't happen often, but it still happens. I was wondering if anybody had some suggestions. I want it to still move, i just want to be the one that moves it. I'm sure somebody on here has rigged something up to stop this from sliding.

i dont have one, but id run a bead of silicone on the bottom of the tray to act as a rubber slide stopper lol. just put a nice, clean and even bead on the bottom of the tray let it dry then put it back in

drill a little hole and put a bolt through it, just dont use a nut to secure it.. it wont move, and when you need to slide it just push the bolt up

Huh, I've never had that problem and I have had trays in all my boxes. How much stuff do you have in it?

i wouldn't say i have a lot of stuff in my tray.. probably half a dozen screwdrivers, some random shit in the middle one and then a set of open end wrenches in the other one... are you suggesting that i should add more weight or less weight?

Maybe try both. I know that I have a ton of crap in mine, and it doesn't slide around.

If I were you, I would try the silicone thing first. If it doesn't work, it's actually not that hard to remove silicone.
