Looked at electric fans for the trans cooler. Debating if I want to just make it on/off or put a thermostat in to control when the fan comes on.. thoughts?

How about this, after towing my quad+trailer and having the bed loaded with stuff for camp. When I get to camp I popped the hood before and the larger cool I put on is so hot I can't hold my hand on it. Going up hill I turn over drive off. I need this tranny to last that's why i think a fan should be added

Use torque app and a bluetooth OBD2 scanner to monitor your trans temps. It can feel hit to the touch but still be in operatiiong temp

New shackles and hangers on rear. Cost a tad over $200 parts & labor. Rockauto saved me a ton on Dorman parts, about $40 under eBay and Amazon.

Dang John, wish I would have thought of that. I knew the job didn't take brain surgeon, so I called all over town and went with the cheapest estimate on labor. I do know one thing, when I buy parts in the future, I'll start with RockAuto.

Rock auto is the best place for parts if you dont need them right away, best prices usually and better than dealing with auto zoo employees

I mean I could add in that I think that scrap might have went up and it'll be worth a bit more.

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread IV
Used the power of thor's hammer to get my seat unstuck, and ultimately found out that my airbag sensor wire is what was holding it up. Wire's soldered back together and the light is off, so no Takata facial for me
