I need it because a lot of vehicles on the streets of Los Angeles have those cheap illegal LED headlight bulbs installed. They blind the living crap out of me.

Lots of people here that can walk you through it if you run into any issues. I have not done the dimming mirror myself but it should be very straight forward mod. I have not done it as I too have heavy tint in the rear window.

I only drive my Mazda 3 and Mazda Tribute at night because they come equipped with the factory dimming mirror. I have very sensitive eyes.

I might leave it to the experts because the labor is super cheap. The shop that tinted my windows yesterday quoted me $30 for the installation.

Here's the mirror I'll probably have installed tomorrow or later this week.

30 bucks? Can't beat a price like that. I would be all over that as well.

He mentioned that all it requires is power and some fuse. Afterwards, I do a few circles on a parking lot for the compass to calibrate.

There's a ton of shops that do all types of installations, so prices are very reasonable. Hopefully Trump doesn't go through with his mass deportation or else the prices on gonna skyrocket on everything.

We have no shops like that around here. It would cost me over 300 bucks to get that mirror installed. I got an estimate of $475 dollars to get 4 KYB shocks installed on my truck. Can you imagine. I did it myself for $110 after rebate. How hard is it to change 4 shocks especially if you have all the tools, right angle air rachets and a lift. Up here you learn to fix them yourself or go broke.
Then again, no border jumpers up here, except Canadians coming down for better health care. LOL.

There's so much competition down here, that sometimes the dealer charges less than Mom & Pop shops.

They are here in NC too others just drive with their high beams on. 9 out of 10 cars I inspect will come in with the high beams on and I always flip'em back down to low beams.
My eyes have gotten more sensitive to bright lights over the years and it pisses me off that others can be so fucking inconsiderate.

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread IV
Changed the brake light switch (above the brake pedal) today. A few days ago, someone pulled up beside me in traffic and said "your brake lights don't work." They did work, but only when the brake pedal was to the floor (and the truck was fully stopped).
