Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread IV
Over the weekend I installed a, made in USA, aluminum differential cover/girdle from TA Performance Products on my 1999 3.0 V6, which was easy peasy and added around another 1/2 pint more 75-90 Mobil1 gear oil to my 7.5" housing (2 qts total) and it looks superb! If you have a 7.5 incher, these are the only guys that make 'em (taperformance.com) and it's price is astounding considering it's quality!

What did you do to your ranger today thread IV
Went to a local yard today looking for some xlt door panels. Only found one pair, in tan, and beat the hell. Was gonna pull a black cluster out of an 07, except they wanted $75 for it, which is ridiculous. They had a ton of expos with everything I could want, center consoles and such, but I don't have the time to do any work like that, so I left empty handed

One of my buddies rolled his truck.. 03 ext. Edge. 6 times it rolled. Thankfully he's alright. Bumps and bruises.. Gives you piece of mind when you drive the same truck.

Took a couple pictures of it. Compared the front of the truck to a completely stock picture from 2010, and compared the back to a picture from 2015.
Really happy with the look the truck has now.

....Said a prayer in hopes the check engine light doesn't come on again. Around 100,000 miles, the problems come in waves no matter how well these trucks are taken care of. But it's still better than making $600 dollar monthly payments and paying high insurance on a new vehicle.

I don't know about that. My '98 gave me no troubles at 100k. Or 200k. Or 250k...

No clue, he doesn't know. So no telling how fast he was going. The height difference from the road to where he landed is about 4 foot so 6 times at 55ish is about right.

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread IV
Finally got the junk yard markings off the bed, bed liner in, tonnaue cover brackets off, sanded the inertia rockers and repainted, replaced the plastic "ranger" kick plates, pulled up the edges of the carpet and checked for signs of water and check the floor board, all is well, then I washed it.
This weekend is engine detailing, a seafood treatment, and an oil change! This truck is still, so far, worth every penny!

Anyone know how hard the rear bearing and front hubs are on this pig?

Finally did something with my hitch that I never installed after body lift in 2011. Took and sanded and used a grinding wheel to clear the rust and paint. Then primed it to be painted. Debating between gloss black and flat black, after using this primer I'm leaning towards flat black.
The before..
