That sounds about right. You won't loose all of it, some will be in the torque converter and in the lines but you will need about 5 qts for a pan drop

They got cash? That would cover the repair bill just as well

Got my tranny filter, hopefully it'll be changed out this weekend and I'll adjust the shift bands while the pan is off

Theoretically. In my experience, manuals are less reliable. Both my Rangers had automatic transmissions (5r55e) and were bought with 140k+ miles. One was driven to 183k never gave a problem. Only reason it didn't go longer was because I rolled the truck. The other one I sold at 153k and it never gave a problem. My Integra GSR (Y80) had 108k miles on it when it needed new bearings in the trans thus calling for a rebuild. My mustangs trans (TR3650) lost 3rd gear synchro thus calling for a rebuild and it just about to trip 133k. I'm rebuilding my mustangs trans though.

Are y'all ready to get annoyed by more cluster talk? Because I did my most favorite mod to date! This baby has silver needles and bezel, white numbers, sanded down with blue LEDs, and a light up emblem.
