$50 sounds about right. Boss isn't a good brand. But hey for $50 if your happy with it that's good. I have a tview double din junk brand in my f150 and I hate it. Can't wait to get it swapped out. My Mazda has an alpine double din

Not a fan of double dins. They tend to mess up more with bigger bass. However the new pioneers are pretty appealing

I've never had an issue with them. I'm looking at getting an excelon for my f150 or maybe a pioneer. Want something with an actual volume knob.

If you don't have a lot of bass you probably won't have issues lol. I love my kenwood. And the kenwood S I've installed

I wasn't much into sound system, i guess i finally got hooked. I know its not a good brand but thing works like a charm, good for a starter. Hope to get some better/bigger subs.

I'll be going bigger, got a bud who does custom boxes. Dont want to do a multi-thousand dollar sound system, but something that sound good and clean.
