I had the same thing happen once. Everytime I stopped the caliper would rotate and rub on the wheel. I would just backup real quick and tap the brake to get it back into place. This method worked until I could get a new bolt the next day. Lol

long story short, didn't torque the wheels tight enough, breaker bar broke, so I was working with a 3/8 ratchet and a short pipe IIRC

You're still not safe, because it happened to my front axle when I had it. But I doubt you take your brakes apart as much as I seem too, so that may be yours and everyone else's saving grace.

Im not safe either us 91-94 4x4 use these steel pins that are lined with rubber and are prone to backing out. I check them every 3-500 miles to be safe

I have yet to mess with the front end on my 05 but I took my 99 apart probably a half a dozen to a dozen times in the 40k miles I owned it. I always double check and make sure everythings tight. Knock on wood, nothings come loose yet

Everyone I've messed with has been solid metal. Theres little stops on the pins to "lock" them in place.

Mine have never moved on me (yet I suppose), are the little clip tabs rounded on yours or something? I guess if its a known problem its something I should keep an eye on too...

Decieded to paint my chrome bumper. I was inspired by the 2006+ Black FX4 level II color scheme with the grey and black.

I sanded, primed and used a black textured Krylon fusion. I'll have a better idea of if I like it or not, when I get the valance on.

Another angle.

Damn, those headlights are ugly. Going to upgrade to the black housing soon. Can anyone recommend a bulb with better light output? Perhaps something more white?

Also new tires next week!
