Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread IV
Did a fluid change on my hydraulic clutch, fluid came out like old motor oil, clutch feel is better. I recommend all 5 speed owners flush the clutch fluid

I can tell the previous owner neglected this one part. The engine and trans, brake fluid, and coolant were all obviously changed a number of times. The clutch slave and rear differential were another story.
I bet changing the fluid often (say every 30k miles along with fluid in trans and diff) is the way to get 150-200k out of a clutch slave, so good on you. Im going to be dropping a new luks clutch, motorcraft slave, and clutch master cylinder in preventatively- once I do that every 30k im going to change clutch fluid, tranny fluid, and diff fluid.

Talk about getting it done.

yea I don't post a lot of pictures of it. I just got it like 2 months ago. I love it, I was looking for an extended cab with a 4.0 for a while and when I found this one I bought it. It's got no rust which is super rare in the Midwest lol
