I did a thing. Painted my valve covers since theyíre off while Iím replacing gaskets. The paint isnít perfect but I did use high temp paint and I think they came out good and itíll be something different for the truck instead of just slightly cleaner covers when I put everything back together

Looks damn good to me. Should set off the engine compartment nicely.

Thanks! I hope so. I used a high temp red, black for the lettering, and then finished with the high temp clear. I say not perfect because I didnít spend a lot of time smoothing some burrs out or smoothing the coats out before putting on another. Live and learn I guess

Finally got the heads off and I see where my coolant was disappearing too. At least Iíve figured out the problem. Everything will be cleaned before being put back together.

I've been working on painting a windshield visor for my 2011. I wet sanded the first coat of clear coat today.

I also got a brief window to take a picture of the 2011 and 2019 together. Not the best picture but one takes the opportunities one has.

A windshield visor huh? Never heard of that before, only vinyl cuts. I had transformed my truck from spray paint black to the nice blue from before using a goof off. Pretty crazy how much it changed. just realized both of my pictures still have my broken ass bike in the back

Yep, windshield visor. An old school way to change the look of a truck and help reduce the cabin temperatures some.

Looked at it. Left it parked. Drove better cars around.

After the rebuild, the IMRC code still popped up, figured I'd just live with a CEL

Finally replaced the 220k mile old o2 sensors. Must of been in conjunction, I guess.

CEL shut off.

MFW. I'm sure it will be back again, give it a week.

Just got another Ranger, this one is a 2004 FX4 Level II with only 60K miles on it.

Today I threw in a new battery, a new serpentine belt, new NGK spark plugs, and all new Bilsteins front and rear. I've also ordered some new 33x12.50r15s on some Mickey Thompson 15x8 polished wheels.

The Bilstien's I took off all seem okay still, besides a little rust and dirt.

I was going to crank my T-bars and get an alignment but I noticed one bar was already maxed out and the other still had a ways to go. I'm guessing one has sagged much worse than the other. This led me to purchasing new Code 1 T-bars and the bolts to go with it. This thing is getting expensive but hopefully it'll be squared away soon.

4R44E trans fluid change and band adjustment (357,000 miles). When I finished adding fluid, I jacked the rear tires up and proceeded to run through the gears for a minute or so. When I braked the wheels to a stop, my ABS light came on and stayed on through the test drive. It's still on. Coincidence? New brake rotors, calipers, pads, rear wheel cylinders, shoes and drums around 4 months ago. Any suggestions?
Thanks
