Started sanding the bed tonight. Got the front, tailgate, and one side sanded before i ran out of daylight.

And painted my bedrail caps, but got to sand the sides of them again cause the paint decided to run

Nice job! My son (ArcticWolf1911) cleaned his by pulling the housing all apart. Took him a good 3 hours start to finish. Bet your fix didn't take that long!

I don't think it was quite that long, but i did take my time, thankful that i didn't have to get it finished quickly.

Do it and never look back . I got a complete explorer for $1100 . Used the 5.0 , 4r70, and expo axle . Parted out the rest and sold the shell for scrape . Made most of the initial purchase back . I don't know what year you got but mines one of the bastard years for wiring being a 94 and still was able to wire up the obd2 system and still connect to the ecu with a scanner . I'm now going to t5 this week

As in, you're going to put a T5 manual in place of the automatic? Not sure what T5 means...

You're lucky- I cant do a 5.0 swap in this area and pass emissions. The 5.0 would be from an 01 at the latest which is still older than my body which is 02. Sucks...

Took it on its hopefully first of many trips to vermont/new Hampshire for the labor day weekend. 4 and a half hour drives there and back.

Averaged 15.45 mpg too ! Lol

Something funny with the tranny started and my exhaust is gonna just fall out someday soon but oh well

Take mine down, in the morning, to have rear end drained and inspected.
Close to the recommended 1'000 miles, since I had the rear geared to 3:73
and had LSD added as well. Just a quick check to make sure all is good. Nothing
odd, or abnormal. Should be done in about an hour.

One day, minor body work and spray in bed liner.

Want to do a wash and wax before winter arrives! Need a cooler day though.
And hopefully, one without smoke/ash from all the forest fires burning farther west!

Took mine in this morning, for recommended rear end check up.
Had chance to see the inside, after it was drained. Said it looked good, nice even
wear. Fluid looked good. Short wait when I got there, took about 90 minutes total.

Nothing more, unless I take it in, to have a wacky odometer looked at!
Still rolls over, just NOT in a normal fashion.

And maybe minor body work and a spray in bed liner some day!
