Gotcha only thing is I have a tan interior and green seems like the best match but red seems to be all over the place also, I just haven't seen that many hunter green trucks around to match to mine

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread IV
Picked up my new to me 96 xlt 4 cylinder truck. The vin tells me it's a splash, need to do a search to find out exactly why. I also did a little inventory to find out what I need to buy. A headliner and new carpet for sure but luckily the dash and doors are in great shape. Missing the top on my center console and cover on my overhead light. Are there aftermarket versions or do I need to search for used? Also the window crank is missing it's end which makes it hard to use. Should I just replace the whole thing or might I find the knob by itself? One more question, the headlights are really cloudy, what do you recommend to shine them up?

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread IV
About a week ago, had some front end work done.
A couple weeks ago, had rear end regeared from stock 3.55 to 3.73.
Seems to have made a difference! Had a high of 243 miles on tank
last fill up. And that was part stock, part regear mileage!
Will see how regear does on first full tank. Looking good, so far!

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread IV
Replaced battery terminals.
Was checking truck over for a little road trip NC to TN and back and found both battery terminals were cracked. Really don't like cutting cable ends and aftermarket lead terminals so I got a couple lead free terms. and got it done. See attached pic below vvvvvvv
Also checked the A/C since warmer weather is coming fast here in NC, well except for the last couple days its been rather wet and cool.
I tried the A/C back in Dec. when I bought the truck and it didn't work then. So I hooked up the a/c and evacuated the sys only to find it had a full charge. charged it back up and started diag. the clutch wasn't kicking in, found the relay was inop, new relay and Bang nice cold air!

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread IV
Changed the oil and installed new plugs and wires yesterday. Installed the wires wrong so fixed that today. Purring like a kitten now.
Got the MAF sensor and throttle body cleaned too. Almost feels like driving a new truck. Lol.

Just grab your socket and a ratchet and change the plugs.
