Yeah, I have just spindles and coils, but think about it, Camburgs Mid travel kit is just a coil, spindle and upper arm. The common idiot won't know the difference. They just think "wow this thing is off-road ready!"
And you can easily squeeze a couple extra thousand out of them. (Even though I only put $700 into my suspension)
I don't say I have a Mid-travel kit but that's the idea.

Gonna have to find a special kinda person to pass that. Either way most people go by the rule that modifications of any kind do not add any value.

You just need one idiot who doesn't know the real value.
Mods don't necessarily mean no value added.
I would pay a few extra grand for a long-travel Prerunner (but I know the value)
Hell I can throw on some 3 inch spacers and some fiberglass fenders and sell it as a "Prerunner" and I'll find someone who's ignorant enough to believe it.

1. I'm not the kind of person who will purposefully try and trick someone into buying my truck thinking it is some holy grail.
2. There is a difference between a truck with mods and a purpose built prerunner, mud truck, etc.
3. Good luck

More like someone stupid will think its a prerunner and jump it and kill them selves when the suspension they were told was there wasn't and it fails.

If they try and jump a truck that is nose-heavy 4-Banger they deserve to at least roll the thing.
Before this gets too far off track - I changed my fuel filter and checked my diff fluid, also discovered that either my fan clutch is going out, or one of my pulley bearings is out.
And gave her a good wash yesterday.

Just to be clear, you arent actually attempting to excuse this behavior right? Its a slippery slope...
Most people who will screw others are at least conscious of it being frowned on in society, and thus theyll at least pretend they find that behavior repulsive (while doing it). For examples, go talk to any used car salesman alive. At the very least theyve sold cars that had problems and conveniently chose not to mention them, and likely theyve lied straight out their ass to get their $$$.

I used to work at a Clean title used car auction. I've seen some busted ass cars get bought and fixed to look new again never reported to carfax or anything then sell the POS to some family. Not giving two shits if it breaks down within the year. Makes me sick.

Just got my pink slip in the mail, looks like the DMV forgot to put down the miles though.

Not exactly. I stretched the boundaries of what I would ACTUALLY do.
Things on my truck that need attention I would fix and inform the buyer of. Kinda like my "kinda clueless" thread I started several days ago, I know I'm having a drivetrain issue but I won't dump the issue on my buyer without them knowing.
Probably talk my truck up with all the suspension upgrades and ask for a little more than what it's worth, but naturally everyone does that, and then meet the prices in the middle.
So if my truck is KBB at $4,000 I would probably ask for 6,000 and if I'm lucky meet at $5,000
