got the engine apart on the 4.0 truck & discovered why no compression on #1 cylinder... valve seat fell out but thankfully never broke apart and fell down into the actual cylinder. so looks like it's getting a reman head then hopefully get put back togeather.

Replaced tie rods n rear leaf spring hangers/bushing kit. All that I got left to do to is sum bondo n paint on the bedsides.

Driving it home from work, stop at a red, it turns green, hit the gas.... nothing? Take my foot off the gas, still nothing. Try again, and then it goes.
The fuck? It was acting like I just wasn't pressing the gas, engine wasn't stalling or anything.

Did it bog or anything? Because the linkage on the throttle body is mechanical- no fly by wire or anything. If it literally acted like nothing changed then idk wtf would cause that??
The only thing I can think of is some kind of pcm/ground/battery issue- its been my experience the first place to look when really weird stuff starts happening is the battery and all grounds.
