What's the point of this thread? Why was a turbo motor built for a work truck?

30mpg and its a whole Lotta fun I did it for under 3k have own the truck 16yrs

Yeah, they will pull some power with the turbo. How much boost are you running? I'm going to be doing a turbo build for my 97 b2300. Full rebuild on this motor, only has 100k on it. And looking for turbo parts and Ecu. Except, I will be keeping my truck an auto. I know total waste, but I'm not looking to go fast and have fun. The trucks lifted and gonna be on 32s I tow trailers with Atvs and such and would like the extra power when needed. Plus a lot of 5.0 swaps and had the explorer to do it. But sold it.

Right I run my lawn service company outta mine so yea she gotta tow I have an 89 5.0 supercharged ranger to weekend toy only check it out on Google+ James Silvey

Nice not bad. I've got a 56 f100 Im gonna be building with a 4bt cummins and an auto Allison transmission.
