Pretend this Ranger on 35's has whatever engine you want it to have:

Re: pic request 4 cyl big tires
^^^ engine size doesn't matter how the truck looks with 35s on it.

Re: pic request 4 cyl big tires
Why not put size 17 Magic Johnson's on a 2-year-old...makes about as much sense, and I bet the 2-year-old could get off the line and up to speed faster.

Anyone can bolt up 35s to a 4 cyl. Can it turn them without messing up clutch or tranny? is a different story buddy.
A 4 cyl with 35s will be slow. And a regear is a must something in the 5.13 range... also you gotta have new wheel bearings for the added stress and the tranny and diff will hate you if it has stock diff gear ratio.

It's all about the gearing! And a proper lift kit of course. Like many say, just because you can doesn't mean you should,, shit I'd love to be running 35's on my truck without doing the proper changes. If you're going to do it, go ahead and do it right. Regear your truck.

Personally I wouldn't even put 33" on my 4cyl. I have stock tires and that barely gets it going.
