I have a 1993 Ranger and I noticed on the door sticker that is was manufactured in August of 1993. I was born August 4th 1993. It would be interesting to know the exact build date of my truck, it would be hilarious if it and I share a birthday. I haven't found any method to find the build day online for a pre-1994 Ranger. Does anybody here know how to find it?

Not sure if assembly line cars have an exact build date down to the day. Only Fords I know that have exact build dates are SVT (special vehicle team) vehicles and specialty vehicles like the Shelby GT500's and the super car GT.

Try this site, here is the link; www.etis.ford.com When I used it, I was able to get the exact build date for my 2000 Ranger. When you get to the main page, click on the tab across the top that says vehicle & enter your vin #. When you hit enter the info comes uo & the build date is there. Hope that helps.

I tried that already, It said my vin didnt exist. Judging by the copyright at the bottom of the page, I think it only goes as far back as 1994
