Re: The day that changed my life.
I just got to see my GF again tonight... she is doing ok, but needs time. I feel absolutely terrible that I put her through this.

Inattention got me too with my previous vehicle, though it wasn't a GPS that got me, it was fatigue and a ringing phone.
I'm glad everyone made out ok.
A tight seat belt makes all the difference. When my air bags went off, they never even touched me since the seat belt held me in place.

Re: The day that changed my life.
Seatbelts and vehicle design make most non-high speed collisions very easy to survive and walk away from. Generally, it is speed that kills.

Re: The day that changed my life.
Holy, glad to see you both are OK.
I was in a pretty life changing accident... was going on the highway with friends and a mazda wanted to race but when he was beside us looking at us he didn't realize a car was infront of him, and at the last possible second he swurved into us, just missing the wrx infront, and took us into the ditch, we ended up going back onto the highway, flipping, and sliding on our roof for like 100 yards, at least that was the trail the glass left.
But glad to hear your OK, sucks about the Ranger, but cant wait to see what you get next!

Re: The day that changed my life.
SgtSandman: I'm sure fatigue may have played a part in it. I had just gotten off of a 14 hour day that started and ended with army tent setup and teardown.
SaskRanger: what I get next probably won't be much, the one I get after that will be pretty nice tho. (that's the plan anyways.)

Re: The day that changed my life.
I'm in the market now, but it'll be a while. I dont just drop money on something that will work. I want the most out of every bit of cash I can get.
