for a 2008 ford ranger 4x4 6cyl, 3L, MANUAL would be 15(city) and 20(hwy)
AUTOMATIC would b 14(city) and 19(hwy)

for a 2008 ford ranger 4x4 6cyl, 4L, MANUAL would be 15(city) and 19(hwy)
AUTOMATIC would be 14(city) and 17(hwy)

i would get the 4L MANUAL.

Yeah. I have the 4L Manual. It's an ext cab, dont know if that'll make much difference. I can say that there is a huge difference on the highway though. If you know how to shift properly and use the hills to your advantage, I can certainly say i've gotten upwards of 22 miles to the gallon.
