Default YOUR OPINION on "Squatn Trucks"

Some of you may not be familiar with "squattin trucks" but here in the Eastern part of NC it is BIG and I mean a BIG trend. What it is.. It is basically when people raise the front end of their truck higher than the rear end and its noticeably higher in the front. Most achieve this by cranking their Torsion bars all the way up and taking a leaf or two out of the rear. I've read mixed opinions on this.. I havent seen any rangers here squatted and was curious to know where forum members stood on this so input would be nice.

i know that as a Cali lean,, my truck has a very slight Cali lean and I absolutely hate it. I'll be installing an additional leaf to level out later on. That's just me though

A little might look cool on a prerunner style truck, but that's too much for me. Again, to each his or her own.

Yea gotta admire those guys that gotta chip out a livin haulin cardboard, scrap metal or concrete...so why would you wanna look like that?...lol

And what about having to dial-in all those light bars and hid lights those guys put in.

Straight pipes is nothing...was visiting my son in downtown LA and guys would intentionally pipe the exhaust to sound like gunfire! Insane.

Looks like a good way to ruin the payload and handling of a good truck... Those guys probably don't have to worry about that though I bet they never split a single piece of firewood in their life.
