Notice the Ford Racing Headers... They fit the GT40p's. ( but not the steering shaft)

I did it....it's all back together....it was truly a learning experience. I got stuck a few times. I want to meet the sadistic SOB that designed the clutch fan....and his friend that developed that stupid tool you need to barrow from Autozone and yes they are closed when you need it. I did good buying the biggest engine stand that Harbor Freight had... No way the 1 ton would have made it.... Their parts washer never worked except for a big tub of purple stuff. I met a lot of people and made a lot of friends during the last 4 weeks, spent a lot of money and had a lot of fun...I'm afraid the easy part of this 5.0 swap is done...a friend I met through this build knows the owner of a transmission shop, although the donor was a good one, they took the transmission, cleaning painting and upgrading it with the latest bullet proof racing gear. Charging me parts only and letting me use their shop to finish... Wow....

I have to say, you are taking on a very ambitious first project. Looks like you're doing a great job so far. Hopefully it'll all go together without too many major headaches.

Found a guy here in town that owns his own business, I think it's called King Injector of something like that.... had him clean and rebuild my fuel injectors. one was dead and the other had broken parts inside. glad I did not do all this work and be chasing a phantom issue around. charged me $20 each...
