Today, God willing, I will be converting my 60/40 into bucket seats. And if I can find an OHC I may be doing that as well.

Working on gathering parts, paint, vynals, and such for the rest of the build LOL. I use this as an everyday truck, but it's also the only truck I have for hunting and general off road fun. Hoping to make it much better than stock!

Well this is quite relevant to my situation, need to get the special order clutch cable (err, explorer e brake cable) to arrive from the auto parts store so that I can start driving again.
After that:
Change out the worn gears with Tremec replacements in the T5, update the computer and harness to run with a maf sensor, change out the 7.5 rear with the 2000 explorer 8.8with discs sittin on the floor, get a new speedometer cable, get the rough idle taken care of, hook up the speakers in the doors, etc, etc, etc...

I need to clean out the interior, especially the cloth seats. Then I need to start researching the practicality of getting leather seats or paying $500.00 for decent leather covers. Cloth seats in trucks don't work fer me.

I also need to load test my battery since I've managed to completely drain it for the third time recently.

And off to the races she goes.

Find a buyer for mine.
Mechanically sound, as well as body.

To start:

Replace the centerlink.
Put in a thermostate (never buy a vehicle sight-unseen from a cousin)
Replace the Passenger side Mirror
Replace the rear view mirror (how it ended up like that, I'll never figure out)
Replace the ignition lock cylinder (worn to crap and sometimes the key really needs serious wiggling to get it in). Thinking about picking up a newer set of door locks and seeing if I can convert to a single key. I hate 2 keys.
Replace the dash pad
Replace the old bench with buckets
A nice dark grey primer job and touch up a few small dings (I hate red and thankfully, no major bodywork)
Replace the rubberized flooring with some new rubberized flooring.
Replace steering wheel. (Did I mention that I hate red)
Replace the seat belts. (one is kinda frayed on the side and it's.... red.)
Pick up some nice offroad style steel rims and tires.
Replace the door window seals.

That should about cover it... After that I can actually start modding it. Maybe a nice little 302, t5 setup... A guy can dream

I need to get a better system for my camper I got. Just bought a 77 cabover camper that fits in my regular cab short box ranger. I don't trust the stake pocket brackets because of how lightweight the stake pockets are and I can't use the clamp on brackets on the front. I've gotta get airbags for the back so it doesn't sag so bad but finding a good mounting system is turning out to be difficult. Think I am going to have my brother fab me some frame mounted brackets for it. then it'll be good to go.
