Default muddin in a 2WD ranger. How has it worked out for you

I use my 4cyl 2002 2WD ranger for off roading all the time. its never been stuck and has actually pulled 4WD jeeps out more than once. Even on stock tires still just keeps goin

Haha ya it is pretty gutsy to take it thru the mud especially on street tires. i never do it when im by myself tho i always make sure i have a strap or chain and someone with a 4x4 with me just in case. i would like to replace my tires with mud terrains or even all terrains but i just got outta high school and still lookin for work which as we all know aint very easy to find . and as for drivin thru small creeks i have drivin thru part of a lake where water has almost reached my windows lol

I've done it before,
I got stuck, because I backed into a snowbank and got high centered

Never in the mud before.
It's more fun in a 2wd, less traction, more sliding.

I would do offroading in a 2wd, i already did in a f150, but i wouldnt try 2wd mudding unless somebody with a 4x4 was there just in case.

Generally, it's a good idea to have another vehicle along anyway.

Nice job with the Splash. Just curious, is your differential open or does it have an LSD?
