I would ride a bicycle everywhere before buying a gm again... I had to vehicles in gm family both were nothing but problems... Mopar first, then Ford in my opinion?

Dude I got lucky (knocks on wood) no problems on my end and who said anything about trust? Since we're on the subject of recalls, what about that recall Ford 150's had a few years ago where the brake diaphram allowed fuild to leak into the cruise control and cause the vehicles to catch on fire. There's an old saying that Popcorn Sutton use to say about vehicles in general and I quote: If it's got tires or tits, you've got trouble. GM is all that I could get.

Here is my question:

If you don't currently own a Ford then why are you (in general) still a member on this forum?

It's a truck forum. He likes trucks! There is very little actual talk about Rangers on here. Most of it is good natured BS about nuttin! This particular thread is about a vehicle that does not exist! Maybe he wants to buy a non existing truck in the future?

Ford had nothing to do with C4C. That's like blaming the grocer for selling food!

I created this thread because I was simply curious of the "what ifs". Nothing more.
Would I like Ford to bring back a midsize? Yes. Why? Because I don't know if I will ever be able to afford a full size truck. It is what it is

IMHO. If you are going to buy any pickup smaller than a full size buy a TACOMA. The 2014 Tacoma will go 10 years and 150k without a hiccup!

In all fairness, my Ranger is 13 and almost 137K and only the camshaft sync has had to be replaced..

I like the Yota's but they are EXPENSIVE lol

Yes it was and the 3 biggest winners were.

1) Hyundai
2) Kia
3) Ford.....only because of the Focus.

Biggest loser

1) American taxpayers because the vast majority of profit went to Korea.

C4C was one of the biggest disasters. It also "articially"drove used car prices up.
