Default WIll I have to sell my truck (98 Ford Ranger), or can I carry my baby in it?

I need to know restriction laws in Indiana.

If you have an extended cab, but the back seat isn't a full bench seat with seatbelts, then the baby can't sit in the back... And otherwise, it's going to be nearly impossible to get a carseat in and out of the back of that type of truck anyway....
If it's a regular cab (or ext. for that matter) the baby can sit in the front passenger's seat if there are no airbags, or if you can turn off the passenger side airbag.

The only place you can have a car seat in a ranger is in the front passenger seat. If equipped with air bags, have a dealer deactivate the bag. Some cars and trucks are equipped with a switch to disarm the bag.

If it is a regular cab with dual airbags I wouldn't. Airbags will harm small children in an accident.

If it is an extended cab, there is very little room in the rumble seats for a car seat. Will be a pain in the @ss to get in and out of.
