Howdy everyone, I just bought my uncle's Ford Ranger; which is a '96, regular cab, long bed, 5spd, and sadly 2wd... Soo since I can't make it into a mud truck I figured I would make it into a prerunner style truck to still have fun.
so my question is what products would ya'll advise for it? This would be my first time doing a serious build on a vehicle, my other vehicle (( F-150 )) only had a leveling kit and new gears. I'm really wanting the fiberglass fenders which I came across on Glassworks, Inc. for the front fenders and maybe for the rear also, haven't decided. But I'm really stumped on the suspension, I would love to have something I can take off jumps and not have to worry too greatly about it breaking on me but I don't wish to spend over 3,000 for a shop to have to custom make them so I was kinda leaning towards Skyjacker lifts. Does anyone know if those will hold up decent? Keep in mind, I live in Virginia and there's no "serious" jumps like Cal.
