I am guessing that you mean a full 4 door as opposed to the supercab available now. It certainly would be more convenient as the current cab really isn't very passenger firendly but we would lose space somewhere else. I do believe that Ford is looking at a larger Ranger to put it into direct competition with Gm's Colorado and Chryslers Dakota so they would have extra room for the 4 Dr's at that point.

The cool thing about the full size 4dr rangers are they can fit 2 mid sized midgets in the back. Instead of the extended cab rangers which we have here in the states. Those can only fit two small sized midgets. I can't complain though more cab space would be nice even if it isn't being used for seating.

A four door Ranger would be nice but I mean the Ranger with its old body style wich still looks great appeals to the younger guys who want a cooler looking truck. A crew cab appeals to a family or someone who is actually going to put the truck to work. I'd buy a crew cab just for the extra room and a place to pass out when I am driving late at night.

yea being 19 its nice to have my 4dr super cab but i got rear ended about a month ago and my rental car was an 09 z71 4dr colorado and it was sweet and just felt extremely roomy and just wished they made my ranger like that..cuz honestly there would be more room to do a girl in with the 4dr

The only thing out there for a 4 dr Ranger is that stupid looking truck with the word Ford on the grille out there I would rather keep mine a two door with the body styling than that thing made in thailand

I'm not sure how a 4-door Ranger would be much different than this...

i feel like if ya did a ranger front end conversion and throw on a bed it would look pretty good maybe shorted up the rear doors a little so its not super long.

If they ever did have a 4dr ranger. It should keep the 6ft bed. None of that 4ft bed nonsense.

If they had a 4 door ranger, I would look past it and get a F150.

I think most people would, and thats why they don't do that here.

One of the nice things about Rangers, is that unlike most other vehicles, the Ranger still looks pretty much the same throughout the years. I mean there is a big difference between an 1988 and a 2008, but they both still look like Rangers. Most other vehicles (F-150 included) change so drastically that you actually have to look at the emblems to tell what it is sometimes. I think stretching the body of a Ranger to make it a 4-full-door would take away from that timelessness of it's image.

See what I mean.
