So...caliper "blew up" after you replaced the hubs? Which ironically has to be removed to replace the hub?

Interesting..

Or did the bolts come loose and a bump dislodge it hitting the rim?

Bolt let loose and the bottom or top flung up and smacked the rim. That better mr social? And it happens we live and learn.

Okay, any wiring guru around here? I'm looking to add a set of these to the back of my truck. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...d=311354090703

Are they needing a relay? Or will they not require one wired into the reverse lights? I don't want a switch. Just want them to come on with the reverse lights. Will have trailer wiring and a tailgate bar wired as well.

I think you just splice it in with the reverse lights on there already

What I'm asking is if they draw to much power to directly splice them in. Or if they take to much power and need a relay?

What is the rating of the fuse in that circuit currently? Those lights alone need a 1.5A fuse. Chances are high that the current one is too small to work with these in the circuit also, simply because typically you don't design that much extra room in a circuit like that, or you risk damaging what is already there before the fuse blows.

I'll just wire them with a relay. I just really need more light.

And they are cheap

For sure use a relay on those. The guage of wiring used for the reverse lights is the minimal guage that can really support them. Anything more would be too much, and even if it did work, they wouldn't perform as well.

I'll be ordering those led lights as well as 2 4 inch 55w hid spotlights for the hood tabs I have. Might as well do them both at the same time. Gotta install my new bezel and wiring from buggman for the hids and wire all my other stuff into the back.

Ordered my cab corner and bedside repair kit.. Should have it in the mail by Friday. Looks like I'll have a lot of work to do this week/weekend to prepare for it. Hopefully will be able to get it all fixed during class this week, and get it all painted this weekend. We'll see how it goes! Hopefully I'll have a clean ranger in no time
