200 pounds of sandbags over the rear axle will fix the problem.

A set of nice meaty tires goes a long way too.

No it won't lol I just came home from a job interview and I live on a steep hill that had a lil ice on it. Took me 20 minutes and 10 or 15 different attempts before I finally got up the hill. I keep a little over 200 pounds of sand over the axle. It helps on the road but when it comes to an icy hill (or loose gravel hill) it comes down to driving skill and a little trial and error

A 4x4 kit will help more than anything. They have them on ebay!

Eh I've always been able to convince it to go up the hill one way or another, don't think I'd waste the money on chains

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread III
Cranked the torsion bars up a bit more. There's still a little more left in them. The left rear is about 3/8 of an inch higher. The front is level on both sides. I think I need to do arch the left rear spring last a little bit. I have a press so maybe this weekend!
