Hey guys, between the 3.0 litre and the 4.0 litre engine, which one has the most aftermarket support for engine parts?

3.0 has slim to none, 4.0 I couldn't tell you. 5.0 has a HUGE aftermarket, even the older 2.3 has a pretty good aftermarket. I not-so-secretly want to drop a 2.3T into my 87,

You can actually boost the 2.3? How much boost can they take without changing the internals?

Yeah technically, You COULD turbo a N/A 2.3, but not much5 psi max, and the engine probably wouldn't last long, lol.. Best thing is to just drop a turboed 2.3 from the factory in. Like DJ said, T-Bird TC, Mustang SVO, Merkur XR4Ti...
