Default Think i have a chance?

So I've always wanted a 01+ ranger ext cab 4x4, don't really care how many miles or if it's prior salvage, as long as it was fixed, prefer 4.0 with a manual, but would take a 3.0 manual or 4.0 auto, an I wa wondering if I have a chance in heck that I could straight up trade my 1996 f150 Eddie Bauer eddition for one, would they be worth relatively the same? Mine Eddie Bauer is 4x4 ext cab auto 5.8 125xxx miles and 31s no problems on the truck and has a clean title, do I stand a chance for a trade or am I way out of the ball park?

That rust is going to scare a lot of people away. It looks like your frame is getting bad too from the first pic.

haha ya I don't need the towing power of a v8..that often! Maybe once every couple months I pull a flat bed trailer, plus I would most likely sell my current ranger for a older f150 or 250, nothing special just to use when needed once a month or so

I realize that but look at your bed compared to the cab. Looks like a frame twister from a minor flex.

its 3in strait pipe after cats so it sound pretty good, and I wish! I'd rather drive this everyday then a newer ranger(sometimes) just can't afford fuel in the damn thing...if I baby it it gets roughly 12.5, drive it like I stole it about 10.5

My dads got a 97 F-150 and if it were mine, I wouldn't trade it for a ranger.

I'm from iowa. Personally if you did a straight trade for a ranger, it'd be close to 200k. I'm not trying to knock you down, but your f150 isn't worth that much. I've bought several and sold several of them. Put it on CL for 2500 and see what that get's you. You'll have more luck selling it and putting cash to a ranger than a straight trade.
