HAHAHAHAHA Why the crap would you need to do an engine swap? We could, if you wanted, but swapping a cab doesn't require and engine swap!

Lol I'm not saying that he is stupid, I'm sure he has some wisdom that would make all of us think "why the hell didn't I think of that, that makes a lot of sense..." But an engine swap, no need, just need to know where the wires go lol. Ask him why he said that. He may have an answer we wouldn't think of, but I still see no reason to do an engine swap if the damn thing runs lol

I have to agree. An engine swap is indeed not needed. It's sounds like your shop instructor needs a refresher course. In the world of hotrodding if you got the time and the money along with some exp. and knowledge, you can do any damn thing you want.

So i decided im going to start tearing the dash out and stuff so when i get the new cab i can start putting it on right away, problem is i don't think i can get a fully loaded cab like the one i found for $600 until the end of may. or i could completely cut my losses and sell the truck in the middle of June to two of by buddies who want to use it as a mudding truck. They want to buy it for $500.

Whew! That will cost you way,way more than the truck's worth. To reinstall airbags aint bad except the cost. I think you're better off without the airbags. The module is pretty easy to replace but it's expensive. It should just about be a plug and play deal.
