I don't LOVE my Ranger, but I like it a lot. It's a 1992 XLT Super w/4.0 and I can do most all of the work myself. I've had it since 2008 and it has never left me stranded anywhere. Sure, the tranny leaks a little, it's got some rust, but overall for $600 I think I got a good deal.

I love mine because it gets better gas mileage than my Superduty and keeps the miles of it as well.

I also don't love mine. There are times I enjoy driving it and times I dislike it.

Sometimes its advantages can be disadvantages. Size is nice when its just me, but a PITA when I want to haul more then one other person and my dog.

I like the manual transmission because they are a rare breed these days, but hate driving it when there's traffic.

I like the work i've done to it, but realize I originally bought it just for a DD and should have spent that mod money on my cooler 96 FSB when I had the chance before I sold it.

After my grandpa bought an 2002 ext cab 4x4 I was hooked. Absolutly love the looks and I could care less about ride quality or mpg. Insurance is less than a comparable f150 also and it fits in my driveway just perfect! And it's unique because around here everyone has an f150

My insurance on my ranger was $87....insurance on my F150 is $3 more
