Glad the two of you are okay, Zach. That wind was brutal the other day. I was getting pushed around in my Explorer all night. I'm right off of 75 around exit 32.

If you had 06 tails and they're not destroyed, pm me a price and I will for sure buy them if you choose to part it out.

Sucks to see it go, but it did its duty by protecting you and your wife.

I get on 75 at Grayling a couple times a week. I've lost count on how many times I've hit black ice from there on up to just north of Gaylord this year. It's a very scary feeling.
Again, glad it was just the truck that got hurt.

Damn Zach, so sorry to see this but so glad you both are ok. You're right, these trucks are pretty tough and it did it's job.

That being said, when/if they total it, buy that bitch back because that's an easy fix!

Glad you and the wife are OK. I had a very similar incident a few years back with my 96 Ranger XLT. Wet road, lost traction rounding an on ramp to the highway. Did a 180 and the tires hit the soft/wet grass and the truck rolled three times down the embankment. Luckily she landed right side up, I was able to open the door and limped away, more or less unharmed. Truck was totaled.

Update on the truck. Ins totaled it and got my pay out. Obviously I kept the truck. Going to go look at f150 here shortly.

Now here is pictures of the roof. It's creased pretty good near the window. And pulled in a little in the passenger side. It will need to be replaced.

Now the steering rack was loose. Took it all apart looks like the bushings compressed a little. Put it back together and put the hurt to the bolts and its all tight again.

Now onto the engine. Removed the spark plugs and bar'ed it over. It spit out a crap ton of oil. Not surprised being it sat upside down for 3 hours. Now the good feeling part. While turning it over it was completely quiet, no rattles or clangs. And it turned over with out binding up so that's a good sign. Going to let it sit till Wednesday turn it over again in case of any more oil. Do a compression test just to be over cautious. Then new plugs and oil and we will see if it fires. Also no oil in the coolant and or coolant in oil. So another good sign.
