Drove all around town catching up with friends, filing my motion, getting my old license plate number from the DMV, getting a form from the DMV, etc...

Finished sanding the rust away on the driver side and then coated the lower third of the truck with a bedliner product to seal it against further rust.

It bugged me that the doors that were replacements after an accident were the first to rust. The rust had not gone all the way through, but it was looking poor.

A friend had this done to his chevy s-10 and it seemed a good idea for an older truck to get a face lift that gives it a bad boy look.

Suggest checking the trans fluid after a couple hundred miles and see if the nice looking red color has changed. If the original fluid was contaminated with water, it's possible enough old fluid remained to contaminate the new stuff.

Finally bought myself a ball mount and temporary pin for the Ranger. Eventually I'll upgrade to a locking pin, but for now I'll just remove it when it's not in use.

Topped off the rear differential fluid, topped off the clutch master cylinder, hauled about 400lbs of motor parts (from one of my old vehicles) back from my parents house in Illinois to my house in Wisconsin.

155 mile drive home, 23mpg, average of 70 mph overall. Trip only took 2.5 hours or so. I need to fix my damn cab mount and get new seats. My back hurts from sitting in that truck for so long.

My court case got dismissed before I even went in front of a judge. Happy day.

Got to catch up with a LOT of my friends from my old town too.
