cleaned the insides of the windows. decided i might try and think about painting my radio bezel, thinking a dark metallic grey

Took off the chrome step bars. I like the look better without and its much much easier to crawl under.

and today drove it to work and back

Yesterday drove it through its first mud. theres roadwork being done nearby my home so the pavement is gone and it rained hard yesterday, truck only spun its wheels once in the mud but it didnt even give a hint of a struggle.
 Dont like ht elook of mud on the flares though, but the rest of the rain took care of that

Drove the '98. It's been the DD for the week. I did take the '11 out for a spin the other day though.

Attempted the wind noise fix with my own variation lol.
Pulled down the seal along the top of both doors, laid down a bead of RTV inside the channel, then for good measure i sandwiched a 4 or 5" long piece of silicone tape in the seal by the front where the noise is coming from. Jammed the seal back into the door as hard as I could and cranked the windows closed as tightly as I could so the RTV can dry. Hope it works Last edited by JGiddy; 08-12-2011 at 03:08 PM. |
