Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
Remember comfortable is relative (saving the $$$$ by sleeping in truck on the trip) and sleeping in hotels would be much better but don't have the coin! My son and his wife just had twins and I've got to see them!

I soaked the bezel for 30 min. in a sink full of hot,hot water and spic and span
it softened up th rubbery coating and used a sos pad , it was then supper clean and ready for paint used satin black fusion 2 coats and going to put a couple coats of clear coat on today.
be sure to take out all the switches and 12 volt outlets and tape off the clear spot for the 4x4 sw. etc...
here is the finished product after clear coat

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
Great ideal, I love it! Haha now I'm going to go lay down in my truck and see how I fit, me and some friends might go on a road trip this year and that seems like it would be alot better than sleeping in the seat. Our plan is to to have two people in the bed under the cap and the other in the cab so I might have to make one of these.

Nice setup, indeed! I've never thought about doing that myself, as I've got a Leer topper on my rig (which, coincidentally, is a lot like yours), but it's good to know it's possible...don't forget to include some means of self defense on your trip! Who knows what you might wake up to?

It is rather comfortable! Couple years ago two friends and I took a road trip from El Paso to San Antonio and whomever was "stuck" in the back had the luxury of napping...mind you, it was a lot more comfortable for my shorter friend than it was for me and my other 6 foot + buddy!

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
I put power steering fluid in along with brake fluid, and fixed a rattle in the door.
