i took the heads outta my 99 xlt and discovered a crack in the front engine drivers side cylinder head.
i can't wait to get her running again!

removed the rubbery stuff off the radio bezel and repainted it satin black

well i just pulled the #3 spark plug out and that gap is a tad bit smaller than it should be but thats not to big a deal. then i omed out the wire and it was good. i got the timeing gun out and it did have a little bit funny flash going on and then i did#1 and #4(cus thats on the same thing) and they flased fine. i drove it and right away it was all like ehhh and studdered but then i hit the pedal and it was fine after that. if the check engine light pops on again i might buy a new coil pack for it and hopefully that fixs it, if it comes on again

Got my winter tires on last weekend. Can't put the center caps on because of tuner lugs (wanted the lug lock key). But overall I cleaned them up pretty good and the drive-ability is fantastic. Will get pictures up soon.

Added a cap, changed to winter snows and fixed interior light. A real challenge to get some of the lug nuts off and had to strip the outer aluminum covering to get at the real steel lugs.

I posted a thread on page 136 of this tread about a cross country trip I will take this winter. Some people wanted pictures of the bed I made behind my seat for the trip. I took a queen size comforter cover and filled it with four overstuffed pillow from an old couch and then stuffed 5 regular size bed pillows on top of that, I then folded the cover in half to give me a nice cover on top. put behind seats and is VERY comfortable to sleep on when the front seats are all the way forward and the seat backs are tilted all the way forward. During the day while driving stuff is moved back onto mattress to be out of my way. Here are some pics. Also taking some emergency equipment on trip!
