i no the truck has 2 boxes i am looking under the hood and its the horn relay i followed the pix i didnt bend the prong i pulled it and flicked the lights and they came on still and i leaned on the horn and no sound how weird is that?

ah... well it should work..... the relay there is just a relay.. its whats wired to that spot that the relay plugs into... so maybe someone messed with the wiring on your truck before you had it.... but if you read through this thread there is more info and people discussing.... you should actually have 2 relays right in that spot, for the fog lights.

oh... well double check your doing the right one and just do it! is there even a such thing as a horn relay? maybe its sharing power somehow and without the relay there it wont work.....you can bend it back and\or buy a new relay for 10-20 bucks.... i expect a mechanic of 20 years to know this....
