Not hard to paint. Just sanded it down with 320 grit and primed it because it was Red. The sanded the primer lightly then painted with auto paint. I wet sanded between coats with 1000. After final coat dried, I put two coats of clear. I will probably put another coat of clear before I install it.

Yep. Read the manual wrong. Late nights and working tired caused to to misread the manual. Thankfully, it looks like the mistake will only cost me a new set of bearings, crush sleeve, and fluid. Luckily, I hadn't gotten rid of the rebuild kit, so had some of the other stuff I needed like the bearing cups and spacers.

Changed the oil, cleaned the air filter, added some techron fuel system cleaner.

havent been on here in a while, but just brought my truck in for both of the head gaskets to be replaced truck overheated and threw the waterpump and possibly cracked the heatercore... not fun lol ((
