It should have one from the factory, a lot of times they are hard to find, I just found mine tucked up under my bumper, but haven't used it yet.

Trucks must be diffrent in the states than in canada, mine has started up too -20 no plug in, had a rough time but I got it going. Now I forgot to plug it in -40 one time and it didn't start, barely cranked. If plugged in it starts up no problem no matter how cold

Only in certain states, such as Minn., does a new vehicle come equipped with a block heater because it is a special package.

The trucks themselves are identical to Canadian ones except for the Daytime Running Lights that are enabled for your vehicles. Certain people, including my relatives in Minn., have gotten in the habit of plugging in their cars to prevent issues because I don't know anyone who does it here.

True. In the winter i 'll plug my truck in after -10 cause warm oil is always better andd the truck will be happier.

Anyone ever think of installing a esbar or webasto heater on their truck? I've seen them on deisels and their sweet! No running the engine to heat the vehicle, just the little automatic heater.

Haha no. Just hasn't gotten above freezing sense before Christmas. It's supposed to start snowing agin this week

went to homebuilding centre to get 3 sheets of plywood because my bosses toyota Tundra has a cap and they wont fit....
so much for work truck. haha
ah well ranger to the rescue
