Drove it around a bit then trying to decide what paint I want to use to paint it, I can't wait, it'll look so much nicer. Then made a list of things that's gonna get done to it within a few months.

My paint is bad. I just decided I'll do it completely in bed liner. Hopefully by the end of summer I'll be able to.

I just hate the scratches I get off road. I would lose my shit with the first scratch on a new paint job

Yeah that's why I'm doing it kinda cheap, I think the paint will be $100-150 then sandpaper which is pretty cheap. I got a friend that will help me do it and he has all the stuff so it won't be some really expensive paint job, but I'll still be mad if it gets messed up. I don't really use mine offroad at all, but it's going to be used as a odd jobs vehicle this summer so hopefully I don't mess it up too bad haha

----------

And I'm more worried about other people messing it up as they've already put about 3 dents in my vehicle from just hitting it with their doors, then one big scratch that I fixed right away.

Bedliner makes the panels stronger. :-)

I don't want to do the whole thing black though. I'm thinking old school "Ranger" two tone. It's blue now, I was thinking black on the rocker panels and down, blue through the middle, and black on top.

My wheels and rail caps will be black soon

Gave it a bath. It was quite salty. Filled the tank.

Atempted to take apart my stock headlights to paint the inside. Got one open no problem, the second on cracked on me, So ordered new headlights. $20 project went to a $90 project really quick.

You forgot the important beginning of your story..." I was being a dumba$$ and not being careful " or " I assumed nothing would happen ". Lol

Good thing it didn't get ya. You filled your shorts good though huh?

I've stopped trainees from doing dumb shit. But always encourage holding the ballast nice and tight when plugging in HIDs. Never gets old. Lol

Haha belt was squeaking so I'm like hell let's see what running a towel over it would do.. didn't do anything rubbing the top off so I thought I would do the bottom side.. and boom right when the towel hit the belt it caught and my finger went right on through.. you know the best thing out of it? No more squeak!
