Why? Haha I'm sorry but if I had to I don't think I'd ever replace my 3.0 with another 3.0 no matter how much easier the swap is. Haha

It's was a bitch. !! Corner lights much easier.
I baked them at 210 c for 20 min. They finally let go

Look at this. My disc is pushing on my bolts
It should be an even spacing. That explains why my tread worn funny and it had the shakes bad at 120 kmh

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
Well today I washed the Blue Moose. Then I installed the silencer mod and I did notice a little growl from her. I also went and changed the air filter. Then I sat back and smiled as I love my ranger.

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
Replaced my plugs and wires today. Used Autolite Copper plugs with Autolite Professional Series Spark Plug Wires. The job took me about 3 hours and was the first time ever doing this alone. Most of the plugs came out with ease. Snapped one plug, but it came out luckily and one of the boots ripped in half. Looking at my plugs, I was surprised how bad they were and how well I thought my truck was running. Everyone one of them looked like hell. All in all, not a hard job. Only the last plug on the passenger/firewall side was a real pain in the ass to get to. Also replaced my air filter while I was at it.
Next job is to replace the hoses for my transmission cooler. I noticed a leak at the bottom hose. After that, u-joint and front bearings.

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
Change my rear differential oil, transfer case, and front differential. Didnt think that was enough so I changed my brake fluid too.
The rear was nice and dirty, who knows the last time it was changed. One of the reason I always change it right after I buy a vehicle. They had put a gasket and RTV on the rear diff...
Transfer case looked good but still changed it anyways, why not its real easy.
Front diff was a pain in the a. Couldnt get all the fluid out through the fill port, so I had to leave some of the old in there. It was nasty dirty and Im pretty sure it had never been changed (truck has 113,000 miles).
Brake fluid was pretty dirty but I have seen worse. She is nice and clean now.
