i purchased the controller separate but yea will direct just like that. The led ones are going big money on ebay, i ended up the bar 40 controller 10... not a bad deal, both where listed Wrong, due to spelling mistakes and no one else had bid. this set up is going for 190 right now on a correctly spelled auction. should be fun will post pics when finished

Took my cluster out and fixed my irritating flickering bulb. Took me about 30 mins to do so.

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
Again visited at the Auto E.R. to discover it probably needs 1 or 2 coil packs.
Throwing out some weird codes, 2 suggest Coil problems.
I picked up a PROJECT TRUCK.
Been in Auto E.R. going on 4 weeks.
'89 Model wonderfully designed with the Intake Coil Pack UNDER the Alternator.
Later (IMPROVED) designs were both on the Exhaust side.
Hindsight is 20/20, foresight (seems many times to be) blindness.

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
Yesterday, I pulled passenger side fog lamp assembly out.
Again. To remove the water and condensation from INSIDE
the lamp housing. Wiped it dry, resiliconed the seals and reassembled.
What has me wondering tough, is why the wet inside?
These are brand new assemblys, to replace the originals, one of which
was being held together with clear packing tape!! To keep the broken lens pieces in place!

I got a bunch done on my truck today. I pulled the bed off, sanded the back of the cab down, replaced the rear crossmember at the bumper and added another one above the axel, mounted the rear fuel tank, also mounted the fuel tank selector switch. Drilled the rivets out that hold the spring hangers on and replaced them with bolts.
