How good is that spray sealant the last time I waxed I sealed with surf city garage and that sealant took awhile to put on but it was def worth it it rained yesterday and by looking at my truck you couldn't tell.

Blinker mod, a few days ago replaced the auto locking hubs with manual and replaced the rear wheel cylinders and the brake hoses that lead to the calipers

V7 works great, but I always wax with a pate/liquid and my DA polisher every once and a while. V7 is awesome as a detailer and gloss enhancer. The 1st time I used it, I ordered the gallon size.

I yanked out the stock head unit and replaced it with one that has two USB ports and bluetooth.





It's just a $120 unit from Walmart, but I've got one in my other two vehicles too, and love it. It sounds good, I can load up a 32 gb thumb drive with tons of music and just plug it straight into the radio, and it lets me do hands free talking on the cell if I get a call while I'm driving. Including the dash kit and the wiring harness, it's still south of $200 and it's a ton of features for that price, IMO.

I gave the truck a good wash, and i have my hitch sanded and painted ready for install, tomorrow if everything goes right i will have a front receiver hitch and can begin making a winch mount. The paint is still wet in the pics, it will be a flat color when dry.

Should have gone to a car audio shop. Yes you have Bluetooth, but you lost a USB port to gain it.

JVC is "okay", but anything sold at wal mart should be avoided at all costs.

Know Kicker? I don't anymore...my shop and all shops in town don't carry them anymore.

You could have gotten a decent Kenwood for that price. I just picked up my buddy an Excelon with the same features for $170 out the door.

And Excelon is GOOD stuff

The fact that I've had two almost identical units in my other cars for over a year now and love them is why I went with this unit.

FWIW, there were Kenwood units right beside this one....at Walmart.

Just because it came from Walmart, you're dismissing it as junk. If it had come from a car audio dealer, it'd automatically be a much, much better unit, I guess.

Even "if" that's true...do you think the cheap crap wal mart sells is made to same standards? Different factories, WAY different quality controls, etc...

You're talking to a MECP certified installer with over 10 years exp.

I've dealt with my fair share of so called "good" products. Ever heard of Sound stream? Used to be top notch...pure crap these days
