If that would have happened to me I would have said"we'll shit, I got the wrong filter" and went to ingles on my way back with my new filter to get a couple gallon jugs of water to use to put my new oil in, while I installed the new filter.
Besides man how were you going to recycle the oil without something to transport it in? Give the guy / girl a break.

Did you know there's a little book and sometimes a computer by the filters?
Was it just one of the cute chick counter girls? If so...you didn't double check her work? Lol

Ok your starting to annoy me. I didn't say the clerk was lazy the clerk had no idea it wasn't the right one nor did I say the clerk is so quit getting but hurt it was the right filter in the book it was just to fat for ny truck. The thread size was right just jot the size second of all I dare not use fram because I'm not a cheapo. You should read the posts you quote moron, I said the guy that enters them in the database doesn't che k to see if that specific model wideness will fit. I'm done talking to you so quote this all you want your bit**ing is falling on deaf ears.

See...not taking responsibility for your OWN actions. You don't look up filters by thread size smart guy.
It's lazy people like you who have made "The People of Wal Mart"
It all starts as a little things...and you're on an ugly path.
Bye. :-)

Went to change my gauge bulbs...it was completely different from the other ones I've seen on here. There were like 11 black turn in plugs...kinda confused

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
spent all ******* afternoon trying to get the new belt back on and I couldn't seem to get the tensioner loose enough to get it on. Then to make things worse, my wrench fell down into the radiator cowl and I can't get it out. Any suggestions anyone??

Get a retractable magnet and retractable claw. Very cheap and will save your a$$ more than you know.
As for the tensioner...like he said ^. There's actually a 3/8 square hole on it just for a ratchet/breaker bar. I did the same thing with my 94. Makes you feel like a dope huh? Lol
