Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
I ordered some custom machined one piece anti-cone ring's for my Trailready beadlocks. I designed them on my computer - then contacted a machine shop to actually produce them.
They will be powdercoated black and made out of 6061-T6 aluminum to replace the multi-piece plastic setup that Trailready offers.
The anti-cone ring fills some of the space between the beadlock sealing surface & the bead of the tire to prevent uneven stress & bending of the surface ring due to the height difference. You basically need them when using tires that have an overly thick bead. It should seal much better since it's a single solid piece.
Going custom on this is pricey as all hell - but I'm already into it a ton anyway, so what’s some more! LOL

Looked at it as mother nature gave it a free car wash.

Rotate balance & alignment. Noticed left front was wearing ugly, so I took it in. The guy said it was waaaay off!

Thanks Ford!

Bench bleeding a master cylinder is a must. Once that is done, gravity bleeding takes care of the slave. Bench bleeding is a time consuming PITA though.

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
Got the ranger all tinted up and painted the drum brakes and front rotor hats. Attempted to install the billet grille on my stx surrounding grille. That however wasnt successful lol
