Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
Well, I got my registration renewal notice in the mail. It needs an emission test...so I had to change out the 35's for some (now tiny) 285/75/16's in preparation of the dyno test.
THEN the second the test is done (next Saturday), I can toss the 35's back on!
Luckily the truck only needs it every two years...because switching everything just for the test blows!

Wired up the last couple lights and played in the snow a bit.

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
Got bored so i painted the frame and a arms. Then i cut my flowmaster out cut of the 2 1/4" pipes of it then welded in 2 1/2" pipes to a turn down. Has a much deeper and slightly louder tone.

Their dyno equipment can't safely test vehicles with larger than 34" tires.
It sorta sucks around here in Colorado....all sorts of people with lifted trucks have got turned away because of it.
The market for smaller 'rental' tires are going way up around here! LOL
From the official Colorado testing website:

Vehicles with tires larger or smaller than original equipment that do not fit safely on the dynamometer must be returned to stock condition for testing."

Luckily they haven't made people go all the way back to the stock size; it just has to be under the 34" rule. That's why I kept my 285/75/16's mounted on my old wheels.
