A tree branch slightly scratched my whole passenger side... after a lot of curse, I am now thinking what to do about it...

Also, cleaned my battery terminals and refilled the windshield washer fluid.

Bought a spare pats key off Evil Bay and contacted a locksmith they said they would not do it to take it to a dealer
So I did since I only had one good key and a new blank, I took truck and working old key and 1 new blank to dealership.
after 1 hour waiting the service writer comes in and says they can't program that key so I said oh well give me my truck I will go.
He came back and said now it will not start the tech tried to reprogram and lost the program in the old working key. they called the mngr he said to cut one of their keys and do a diagnostic on the ignition.

So they finally got 2 keys programmed and I am 90.00 less in the wallet.
(and the money for the key from ebay)

and was told not to try the key I brought to them or even put it next to the other keys or ignition sw.

remotesupermarket was the name on ebay out of NJ.

So I learned not to buy a key from ebay

I put on a set of Putco bed rails....paid 75 bucks on Kijiji for them, they look awesome....new they would have cost me around 300.00 here.

I got my transmission flushed and put in a k&N panel filter. Also debated on whether to paint my headlights and do the fog light mod....decisions, decisions....oh and airbox mod!

Changed the turn signal fuse for the first time, had to use hand signals for the first time in 22 years.

Well, yesterday, pulled the boat to the lake and back.

Drove it to work. The "new" drive shaft with new u-joints works great once we figured out which u-joints were the correct ones. Advance Auto Parts has the wrong ones listed for the 2.5L with a 5 speed manual, they are the same as the automatic models.

let my girlfriend drive it. and wow thats the last time i let her drive it on wet roads. almost slammed it right into a chevy.
