I picked up some fender flares at the local pick-a-part and finally put them on. I love them! Hope they last 7 months!! Hahaha

Been meaning to get pictures of the truck up since it came back from the paint shop. Put the new (old) emblems on the other day.

Going to pick up the coolant temperature sending unit I ordered after work.
Replacing that tomorrow, and getting my transmission flushed.

What did I do to my Ranger today, you ask?
Well, perhaps the easiest mechanical job most folks can do: I installed a new tailgate handle. Easy job and the part itself is only $4! Why can't everything be so cheap and straightforward?

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
Went to the dealer, and got the oil changed, for a whole nine dollars. Try that on your own.
Checked the air in the tires, and filled them accordingly. Straightened out the air hose at the gas station, since other idiots don't know how to do that, lol. Oh, and I'll be damned if I'm paying you 50 cents for air (per the hand written sign on the wall) to put in my tires when it's free at your station.

Again...no offense intended, just curious.

Well it is still short sleeve shirt weather here in Arizona. I just paid or the stuff so that he could do it because he is trying to get his man card because he doesn't do anything manly haha

Then I guess the thinner oil in that heat would be a problem then. Lol
I didn't realize it was AZ. I like that weather. Dry heat is amazing!
Try going to freaking Houston! I had my a/c go out in my tractor...and I still had to deliver my load! I had to untarp a 53' load in 100+ degree and a billion percent humidity! That's 2 tarps at 90 pounds each, about 12 straps, and 2 huge bundles of bungees. Take it all off and roll it up...omg. With no a/c to cool off mind you.
Don't even ask about tarping the aluminum load in southern texas. We vowed never to speak of that day again...
